You are not determined by results. Your results can go either way. But at the end of the day, you are still you. Know who you are, what you are, what you are made of. Be confident, determined, and you will be soar.

I have realised that I am an extremely ambitious person and using the word 'extremely' is not an overstatement at all. I wish to build buildings, create airlines, set up companies, etc. So tell me, am I ambitious or what?

Before anyone says I am insane, mad, daydreaming, unrealistic, let me share something with you.

I look at all the rich people in the world. Some of them are not Christians but yet they are multi-millionaires and billionaires, with huge companies and businesses. Then I think to myself: I am a Christian and I have His help. What can I not do?

Does this make sense to you? If a non-Christian can do those things, think about what a Christian can do?

So, it is with this thought that I continue on my journey towards my dream.

After more than a year, with time on my hands, I have decided to write something.

While listening to Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones, I am typing now. I have been to Saigon and back, putting a tick to one of my many wishes, visiting historical places. Saying goodbye to that city, I know somehow that I will be back. It is just my character to go back to a place I like. I have been to Phuket twice and I know that I will go back for the third time.

Although I have failed in my attempt to start my business at the age of 21, I have not given up. I might just start it this year at the age of 22. Fingers crossed, I might just succeed in operating a business soon.

I just want to say that I love my country very much. Whether or not I can be part of the huge team that determines its future, I will still love it just as much.

All right. I have just finished applying to all 3 Universities in Singapore, including submitting all relevant documents. Now, I am just waiting patiently for that piece of good news... Applied to FASS of NUS, in order to major in History, applied to NTU to study English Literature, and to Faculty of Social Sciences of SMU to major in Political Science. Hope that at least one Uni will send me a positive reply.
And I have just seen the doctor today regarding my injured shoulder, which occured while saving a goal for the Delta Sharks, and found out that my tendon MIGHT be torn. My goodness... I hope that it will be all right and that there are no torn tissues or whatever.

Sick as well but I am still working as my record... Well, I don't think it's that good at the moment.. Haha..

And I am finally reading Hitler, the 1000 page book about the man himself, what makes him tick and what influencs his decisions, etc. Excited although I am now at just page 12. Haha.. But I believe it will be a great book though, especially when it's written by Sir Ian Kershaw, who was knighted by the Queen, for his services to History. Talk about his passion for the subject.. Wow...
Hope I learn something new from this book as well about him, that could be beneficial for my Uni education..

I am a person who always like to think about my future. In my latest thoughts, I have decided on what I wish to study and work as. But these are just thoughts and are in no way confirmed. Haha..

If it is possible, I will definitely enrol into the NUS Arts and Social Sciences Faculty to major in History. If it is not possible, I will most likely take English Literature in NTU. At least it's a part of Humanites, which I am only interested in.
Moving on to my career, my ultimate aim is of course to be a businessman. However, if somehow, for some reason, I am not able to be one, I have thought of a few career paths. One, to become a History teacher in Maris Stella High School. Second, one which interest me recently, is to become a Home Affairs Senior Executive, working for the MHA, dealing with policies and critically examining them, which I always have an interest in. Furthermore, the starting pay seems very attractive as well. Thus, this basically sums up my future. Haha..

A few updates...

Since late December when I last updated, I have further bought a few more books to read... I guess I like to read, and that should be a good thing, but somehow I feel as if that makes me a nerd? Haha.. I guess I should recommend this book to all Singaporeans. "Marshall of Singapore", is a new book that I've just bought. This is the biography of David Marshall, who was the first Chief Minister of Singapore and I just feel that Singaporeans should read this book. I can't wait to do so, after I have finished reading my current book on John McCain, and one on China... I know all these books sound boring, but there are not, seriously.. Haha..

I have finally bought the soccer boots of my dreams, although not exactly. Let me explain. My dream soccer boots has always been the model, Predator Pulse Beckham Edition, which happens to be an old model already. To my surprise, a certain shop at Queensway still sells this pair, at a much lower price, in order to clear old stock. Alas, it was not meant to be as they do not have my size. Thus, I can only get the latest model, the Predator Power Swerve, which looks quite nice as well... Haha..

I wish to watch Valkyrie soon, since it's a war movie, and one of my favourite actors is the lead. Watched Defiance already and it's great too.

I have also realised unknowingly, that it has been a year already.. And how time flies... Ya... Haha..
